The memorandum was signed by Engineer Thunayan Al Thunayan, President Logistics Solutions at SAL, and Mr. Jafnan Al-Dosari, Founder and CEO of SPACE AGE. The signing took place during SAL's participation in the second edition of the World Defense Exhibition, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries in Riyadh from February 4 to 8, 2024, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Engineer Thunayan Al Thunayan stated, "The signing of this memorandum aligns with SAL's future plans and our commitment to pioneering advancements in the logistics services sector in the Kingdom. Our aim is to integrate modern technologies to stimulate the sector and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of becoming a leading global logistics hub connecting the continents."

The memorandum of understanding with SPACE AGE will initiate negotiations to establish a partnership focused on utilizing drone technology for the transportation and delivery of shipments. This collaboration will involve building the necessary technical solutions and infrastructure, as well as transferring and localizing drone industries to the Kingdom.
