Frequently
Asked Questions

  • What determines the Terminal Handling Charges at SAL?

Charges at SAL are determined based on the chargeable weight applicable to each Airwaybill (both master and house). Minimum charges are established, subject to potential increases if additional work or expenses are incurred. The outlined charges are applicable to each air waybill, whether master or house, and also apply in instances where consignments are divided for entry purposes.

In the event of any discrepancies discovered during this process, charges may be adjusted accordingly to reflect the accurate and appropriate cost associated with the shipment. This meticulous approach ensures transparency and fairness in our pricing structure.

Import shipments undergo a thorough check, considering both weight and volume. In instances where any discrepancies are identified during this examination, charges may be adjusted accordingly. This approach ensures that our tariff structure is not only transparent but also adaptable to the specific characteristics of each shipment.
