Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - June 13, 2023 - SAL Logistics Services and Microsoft Arabia Limited are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore potential collaboration in digital transformation. The MOU was signed on June 12, 2023, and sets forth the framework for the Parties' discussions and cooperation on a potential business relationship.

The objective of the MOU is to facilitate discussions and cooperation between SAL and Microsoft on a project focused on digital transformation. The project aims to leverage AI technologies and market benchmarks to define a digital transformation roadmap for SAL's line of businesses. Which includes initiatives such as developing a data strategy and roadmap, envisioning customer journeys and surrounding tools, exploring SAP RISE on Azure, and offering enterprise skilling to increase digital adoption.

The Parties will also explore joint visits to Microsoft Technology Centers aiming to experience real-life demos and showcase industry solutions. Furthermore, Microsoft will share its own journey with sustainability, providing valuable insights to support SAL's sustainability efforts.
