The memorandum aims to improve coordination, integration, and the adoption of best practices to raise the quality of services provided at the airports. The agreement was signed by Mr. Faisal bin Saad Al-Bedah, Managing Director and CEO of SAL Logistics Services, and His Excellency Engineer Ali bin Muhammad Masrahi, CEO of The Second Airports Cluster Company.
Mr. Faisal Al-Bedah highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating, "This memorandum represents a crucial step towards achieving the objectives of the transport and logistics strategy, which includes raising the air freight capacity to 4.5 million tons by 2030 at various airports in the Kingdom. Through this cooperation, we aim to overcome operational challenges that may hinder movement and enhance logistical mobility by building strong partnerships."
His Excellency Engineer Ali Masrahi echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the significance of the agreement in improving the quality of logistical services at the company's airports. "Cluster2 Airports aspires, through this memorandum, to achieve the goals of the national strategy for transport and logistical services. This memorandum is a vital start to enhancing joint cooperation and achieving optimal operational performance, contributing to the sustainable development of the logistics sector system," said Engineer Masrahi.
